Big cities, small cities

I stopped to notice the difference between big and smaller cities. People wear the same clothes, people desire the same things and brands. People drink the same coffees and beers. Was there ever difference or was it just in my head? Maybe just people from the smaller ones look at you more carefully, afraid of what you think about them- is it visible that they have less of that big city glam?

I'm tired of brands. They're getting more and more aggressive, attacking us with posters and logos from everywhere, wanting to occupy our minds. Now it's more clear and simple for me that under each brand "philosophy" is just one thing that matters-money. We all know it, don't we? But we're still forgetting it the moment we see "New arrivals" or "Sales".
