Desire to inspire

I think this is after my mum that I'm easy to move, especially by movies. Guess what made me to wipe tears surreptitously (even if there was no one in the house)? Glee! A series that is funny and gleeful! And what's more- it's about teenagers' problems. So why it moved me so much? Was it disco music as a leitmotif of this episode? No...obviously not! (Ah, prom...) Was it all that talking about dreams, following them and making come true? Maybe.
But except making me laugh and cry it also made me realise that there's just one thing that I want to do in my life: Inspire And I may say I want to be a fashion designer or I want to write a book, or I want to sing jazzy songs or to be editor in chief of cool magazine- but it all means one thing- I want to inspire people. Inspire who? To what? What for? Answers maybe I'll find out somewhere on the road.

Nothing

We had naps in kindergarten and I had problems with them- I couldn't fall asleep. Once some boy gave me an advice:"Don't think about anything and then you'll fall asleep". And it worked! For once I fell asleep. In the beginning it was so hard to ward off intrusive thoughts, after a while the only thought was "Don't think about anything!" and then my brain went blank and I feel asleep unnoticeably.

Yesterday in the train some passenger was presenting his theories about eating too much sugar that causes compulsive talking and also about modern people that cannot stop their thinking and planning processes.

Those two stories are very close to what I've been thining about lately (thinking again!). And I was thinking about thinking too much. And that it's necessary to stop this process from time to time, to reset the brain, let it rest and cool down. It's cool not to think too much all the time.

Add something extra

Always add something more, something extra. Try to do things a bit different. Hmm... But why actually? Good question- why people want to do things harder, better, faster, stronger? Why not to stay slow, bad, weak? Which set is more human? Sometimes I'd pay everything to be released from that annoying habit of thinking!

Depends how you say it

Some people have unique ability of making things amazing and hilarious instead of just great and funny. Some people always have the most fantastic adventures and coencidences on Earth. Some have houndreds of friends and each one of them is so extraordinary and special. Some people... some people just know how to tell things to sound better ;) It's not people's life that differes, it's the way you see it and the way you say it. Everyone meets strangers and experience things that some call adventures. Maybe you're more adventuroes than you expect? ;)

What's really important

You don't know what's really important in your life?

 Little cheat sheet:
-it's your childhood dream
-it seems to be impossible
-when you do or see something connected with it, you're thrilled
-it makes you forget abouth the whole world
-it makes you smile and feeling happy

Actually... The only wise thing to do in life is being happy.

Stop and stare

For me drawing is better than yoga. It makes me totally focused. It makes me here and now. It makes me forgetting about whole world around, about what's bothering me during the day, about the work. It's like an everythingproof bubble that separates me from everything that is not important.
I have to be careful not to try too much- then all the magic is gone, line is stiff and unnatural, nothing is good enough and all the joy of creating evaporates somewhere.

Storeroom

Ok, be honest- how many things you bought becouse you promised yourself to practice, to exercise, to learn new language/sport/whatever? :)

Lately I found out soft pastels (intact) and handbooks to learn French (dust on them has 8 years!). And I'm still not speaking French or having pastel artpiece. Where did the good will go? If there is  a place where all the good wills, strong resolutions and ambtious plans meet, it must be pretty crowded there! It's a great mystery of humanity- why do we want so much and can't achieve it?
